The Bento Battle has begun, and let me tell you people–IT IS ON!
April 10th, The Japan Society in New York will be sponsoring the j-Cation Taste Japan celebration, a day dedicated to the theme of Japanese food in its cinematic, musical, auditory, and sensory incarnations.
Can’t make it to NY? No matter. The real fun is the VIRTUAL BENTO BOX BATTLE. That’s right . They are “calling all amateur chefs, food artists, and bento enthusiasts! We invite you to show of your most clever and kawaii bento box creations…Entries will be displayed at j-CATION on April 10, 2010, and may be posted on the Japan Society website for the world to admire. Special guest judges will select the winners, who will receive some amazing prizes to further your bento creativity.” (via)
