I’m watching Project Runway, so it seems the perfect time to peek at some of the other fabulous designers showing at Japan Fashion Week soon.
I can’t see many of their actual garments, but am in love with the images from mifrel, by designers Tomoaki Ryu and WeiWei. Their blog is beautiful and filled with photos that don’t feel contrived or forced–just pretty. Certainly in keeping with their mission of “creating warmth and hominess that is missing from mass produced goods.” Indeed!
My only sadness is that I can’t read Japanese to know what they say about these beautiful images. Despite my lack of language abilities, I get the feeling, and want to know more.
