Okay, I am a snob about my Japanese food and I must confess, I don’t actually want to eat at Benihana. Maybe it’s from having amazing Japanese food in Korea. I cannot, however, deny how funny it would be to sign my husband up for the Benihana Father’s Day promotion Be The Chef.
I giggle at just the idea of my son laughing while my husband tries to fling shrimp into our mouths or the vision of him making hibachi onion volcano on the hibachi. Or maybe I just like the idea of him in the outfit…
For a family of four, for just $140, you can learn the “ancient art of teppanyaki.” Then, get a private performance from your own chef. Food quality? Meh. Fun factor? Yup.
Happy Father’s Day folks!
